Health & Wellness in
Disaster Response

Breakout Track Two

This track is designed for those who serve on the front lines of disasters—whether natural or man-made—where the challenges extend far beyond the incident itself. Sessions will focus on the unique physical, mental, and emotional demands placed on disaster responders, including stress, fatigue, trauma exposure, and the long-term impacts of working in high-intensity, unpredictable environments. Participants will gain practical tools, evidence-based strategies, and peer-driven insights to strengthen resilience, manage cumulative stress, and support both their own well-being and that of their teams.
